Four Key Players in Bone Health

Bone health isn’t just about calcium intake. For the body to properly utilize calcium, it requires nutrients that work together in a chain: vitamin D, which enhances calcium absorption; vitamin K, which facilitates its incorporation into the bone matrix; and magnesium, which plays a role in the activation process. When these links work together, calcium isn’t just stored, but also functions correctly and in the right place.

Timing of Reinforcement

  • If calcium and magnesium need to be taken as supplements, taking them in high doses at the same time can interfere with each other’s absorption.
  • The best way:
    🌞 With breakfast: Vitamin D and K2 + Calcium
🌙 In the evening or before bedtime: Magnesium
