Bone health isn’t just about calcium intake. For the body to properly utilize calcium, it requires nutrients that work together in a chain: vitamin D, which enhances calcium absorption; vitamin K, which facilitates its incorporation into the bone matrix; and magnesium, which plays a role in the activation process. Magnesium: Activates Vitamin D
- Vitamin D is obtained from sunlight or food, but it cannot be effective until it is converted into its active form.
